If you know Pollenca then this restaurant needs no introduction. Occupying a fabulous spot on the waterfront, in the original fish market, it has the perfect backdrop for lunch or dinner with spectacular views across the mountains and bay. Run by Miquel and his welcoming team, this is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Pollenca.

We have eaten here many times and it is often our go to place for a special occasion. In fact we celebrated both our Mums 75th birthdays here this year when they visited us, although you couldn't have two more contrasting experiences. A warm balmy summer night for one and rain coming in sideways for the other! When the weather is a little cooler or a bit wet you dine up on the first floor in a bright and modern space where you really do get to see the bay in all of its glory. In the summer they have a ground floor terrace alongside the boats with yet another fabulous view of the mountains.

We were there last Sunday for lunch with family and it didn't disappoint. A perfectly cooked piece of sole, some delicious lightly fried anchovies and seafood skewers were just some of the dishes that were tantalising our taste buds. The menu is guaranteed to please with Mediterranean inspired seasonal dishes. If fish and seafood is your thing then there is a fantastic choice fresh from our shores, but don’t worry if that doesn’t hook you, there is always local meat dishes including the delicious slow cooked lamb or the fillet of Pollenca pork.

Their rice dishes are also very good and there is something rather lovely enjoying a seafood paella looking out over the bay. We are often very envious when we watch a lobster make its way to the kitchen and reappear in a paella…next time, we always say 😊

Just around the corner are the best cocktails in town also overlooking the marina. Give Terraza 360 a visit for a pre-dinner cocktail they are out of this world!
